Happy 3rd Birthday

Dear son,
I write to you on the date of the day you were born to my life, and today this piece of writing will be a blank cheque on a failing date. But, tomorrow you shall grow in length and depth to read my heart with words that I proudly express my wishes for your birth day.
Your mom and myself, we have longed and wished for a child quite a sometime of years, and this years of waiting was really burdensome and intolerable. It was when your mom gave me an alarmed news of a positive test that I actually was lost in the joy of happiness.
Since then, I walked with your mom and saw her nurturing and caring you with so much of love in her womb 24-7 for the next nine months. The last moment was yet another unforgettable night what lot of pains and sufferings that your mom had to move until the very time of the day you were born. I could not hold on my breath to see your mom back to alright through each second I saw her with drying throat, sweating, shouting and at the same time to embrace you tightly in my arms.
JUNE 17, 2012 at about 9:06 am in the morning, you came to our life bringing immense of joy and happiness. There was so much of life and peace in your charming and amazing face, which made us to forget everything, the difficulties, sorrows, sufferings, idleness etc. and make us to rejoice as a family since then.
As I write to you my dear son, at this moment, you turn three years and reminds me of the time you have been living all these past years to first cry, then to crawl, to walk and to talk, each day you grow to a a blooming handsome boy.
It's always my pride and hope to chant your name as may other hear - DORJI LODHEN PHUNTSHOK.

A legend to Remember

Picture reveals a history

Gasa, Trashi Thomoen Dzong, well known of the earliest living legend of Drukpa Family in Bhutan, lies to the extreme north. The District has in itself a wide range of vegetation from a mixture of broad leaved deciduous to alpine shrubs and medicinal herbs.

People in Gasa, during the early-seventeenth century, especially the family of Hobtsho, were the first to invite and welcome Zhabdrung Rinpoche, "father of Choesid Nyedhen Ghi Gyalkap". This followed several invasions by the Tibetans, as the Drukpa in Bhutan and growing popularity of Zhabdrung Rinpoche, remained the greatest fear of Tsang Desi. It was during this long period of raid and war that safety and survival was a concern for the people and national sovereignty and independence was a priority for our great leaders.

The picture above is to portray the skill and broader dimension of our forefathers, out of many, during internal and external turmoil. It shows how people during wars and conflicts, used to fetch their water from a near by gorges. A magnificent water pool can be also seen in Bumthang, Jakar. The above picture is also such kind that one finds in Gasa. Not even a kilometer was a span of the trench to reach the water at the gorge.

Today the Dzongkhag administration took a noble initiative to preserve the site for good intention. Such places can reach out a wide range of audience, nationalist to appreciate and foreigners to adore. SO, I guess there are a lot to know about my country.....More share next time!

GOOD DAY

A day to remember...my pride

Royal Wedding – A moment of national pride

The day, 21st February, 1980,
Delighted the people of Bhutan.
The birth of his majesty, fifth Druk Gyalpo,
Is the prelude for the national prosperity and harmony.
We the people of Bhutan celebrates,
For a smooth evolution of a modern democracy,
To Your Majesty’s dynamic leadership.
 Further, we are more delighted,
On commencing the day for the royal wedding.
A wave of surprise,
The light of happiness,
And, a mood of impatience,
Poured the whole nation,
As Your Majesty announced the 7th session of the parliament,
The date for the royal wedding.
We express our heart,
Lend our prayers, and,
 Leave our hopes,
For our royal couple’s,
Happy life and unprecedented reign.

Step ahead

"Learning has no end...", it only needs your effort to start and make a move. Today, with my enthusiastic  friends, I really wanted to make a step ahead that I now firmly believe would make a difference, both in my career and profession. I think it's just the beginning and a lot thing is yet to happen. Everything that comes my way, I will take it all with my heart and remembered in my next life, if i was ever given a chance.

I aspect thoughtful views and critics to recommend in my adventure towards learning. Every comments and feedback that you all took a time to spent shall be highly valued.  I am wishing myself a happy start.  With all the REGARDS and LOVE.
